Dwayne and Kama'aina Movers are straight up awesome. What does he do that the others I've worked with don't? He communicates with you. Calls to make sure everything is still on schedule and gives you his cell phone and encourages you to call it. He's on time. He was waiting for ME to get the work done, not the other way around! He does as much or as little as you ask, no more no less. He charges what he says he'll charge... nothing hidden. My final charge was then than my quote! He cares. He treated my stuff like it was his own, maybe even better. I don't care if I'm moving a couch down the hall or an entire warehouse the length of the island, I'm calling Kama'aina Movers and putting Dwayne on the case!

I needed last-minute movers to move my furniture out of my old apartment into the garage downstairs. Dwayne was professional and courteous, and he arranged for the movers on the day and time that I needed. My movers were Gary and Wally, who both worked very hard to get the job done. They arrived early, worked non-stop, and were very friendly. These guys took great care of my furniture and made sure the job was done right. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They were able to provide service on the same day that I contacted them. Very cautious of the condition of items and moved everything very carefully as not to cause damage to furniture of inside of house. Were quick and efficent so as to complete the job quickly. I just wanted to commend Dwayne and John for their EXCELLENT service in moving my family via VERY short notice (same day!). They were professional, careful and extremely personable and friendly. They got the entire move done in two hours flat and didn't try to charge all the extra fee's that a lot of companies do. I will DEFINITELY use them again and refer them to friends and family! I'm so thankful I found Kama'aina Movers! They were accomodating, affordable and super fast. I was quoted 2 hours to move out my 1BD/BA from Waikiki to Manoa and it took just that. Dwayne and his crew moved our household belongings in Oahu twice now (Sep. 2008 and Sep. 2010) and we highly recommend them. They were fast, on time, and reasonable. No items were damaged during the moves too. They were courteous and friendly, easy to talk to, and hard working. I've experienced several moves already (international and domestic ones) and Dwayne's moves were the best.

i looked on craigs liat for movers to choose from. like kamaaina adds and posted rates estimate given on phone was pretty close. they were speedy and cared about my stuff i pa ked they hauled. they even carried my spf down ten flights of stairs as it would not fit in the elevator. ive already re omended them. they were well worth the tip i gave them.::::::
